Always stay the the Highlands when in the area. Rooms are always clean and staff are very friendly. I sometimes arrive late and they always make contact so it’s easy to check in when arriving late. Best motel in Oberon!

Rooms were good. Service excellent. Only a short walk to shops and clubs so location great. Non smoking, but did have an area set aside. Possibly an issue if raining/snowing. Otherwise highly recommended.

Really comfortable stay here. Clean, little treats (chocolates), fresh milk for tea/coffee, comfy bed, good shower....all good. And near Red Ground Truffles which is why we stayed in the area which I also highly recommend. Amazing truffle hunting experience there!

We had a very positive experience with the team at Highlands Motor Inn from the first instant we met. Ian and Diana were very helpful given we had some extra requirements for our stay. The rooms were very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. If you want to stay anywhere in Oberon stay at the Highland Motor Inn, you won't be disappointed

Recently booked 3 rooms for a family wedding. They were everything you hope for a good overnight stay. Clean quiet comfy bed fresh linen and one of the best showers ever! Strong pressure snd hot! And very friendly recption. Definitely recommend!

Highlands Motor Inn is exceptionally well placed to provide convenient access to Oberon High St.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and spacious.
We have stayed here several times and it is our first choice when visiting Oberon.

The only place to stay in Oberon. We visited the Mayfield Gardens and the location room space and managers were exceptional for a country motel. And the bed and pillows were as good or better than the coloured roses in the front Reception entry .

Such a lovely place to stay, from the moment we arrived the service was wonderful. The room had everything we could have needed and thoughtful little treats to enjoy. Very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.

It was wonderful to stay at a motel where everything worked. The room was large and cosy. The bed was totally comfortable. The bathroom was very good. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Just had a beaut three night stay while we explored the beautiful Oberon area. Great size room, very quiet and very comfortable beds. Great location off the main road and didn't hear a thing at night. Easy five minute walk into town.

What a treasure this place is, friendly staff, exceptionally clean rooms, the shower that you never want to leave, and a range of tea’s coffee and chocolate, also has electric blankets and aircon ( that had been turned on prior to our arrival, so room was very warm and cosy )what more could you want. Seriously the nicest place to stay. Very short walk to cafes, shops and pub. We really enjoyed our stay .

The hotel is centrally located, so it’s close to everything. The lady’s at the front desk was very friendly and super helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and what I loved most was that you have to take off your shoes when entering—such a nice touch! Our room had everything: milk, coffee, cookies, tea—every little detail was thoughtfully prepared. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I definitely recommend this place!

Booking and Communication was easy and friendly. Received a welcoming greeting and the heating in our room was switched on prior to our arrival. The room was spacious and extremely clean with personal touches that made us feel right at home. Location was perfect and quiet with a short walk to restaurants and cafes. Highly recommended when visiting Oberon or surrounding areas.

Small details that lift this place from good to exceptional.
1) The warmest welcome at reception.
2) Super clean and fresh rooms.
3) Clean and well maintained furniture.
4) All the basics like kettle, microwave, iron and all in good condition.
5) Small touches like chocolates, bikkies and they even offer fresh milk for your tea and coffee.
6) Starch provided for ironing and a shaving cream which is the first I’ve seen.
All this in big rooms on a very centrally located property.
Overall better than some 4 star hotels and if there were more stars available from Google I would give them more.

Big beds that are comfortable, strong water pressure in the showers, friendly staff, very clean, robes that can fit plus size bodies, close to everything, will be coming back to stay!

Could not have loved our stay more! We booked the dog friendly room, which was new, clean and extra spacious. There’s a grassy area at the inn which was convenient for puppy to use too. Diana was friendly, gracious and communicative. Thank you for all the extra touches :) Would highly recommend staying here when visiting Oberon (was also a quick walk to the town centre)!

Very clean, always smells good, no noisy air con, perfect bathroom and shower area, nice service, nice owner, smart tvs, good wifi, microwave, toaster , they dont wash dishes in bathroom like other places i have seen instead they replace them with clean stuff.
