Looking for work, have a look at this 👌🌾🍒🚜 #HARVEST HELP NEEDED: Are you out of work or perhaps looking to make some extra cash? Members of the community are being encouraged to come together and be part of the state’s second-biggest harvest in a decade by helping bring in some of the region’s bumper crops.

Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke MP said it was a great opportunity for school leavers, retirees and job seekers to “earn some great money”.

“With national borders closed due to COVID we simply don’t have the number of seasonal workers available to harvest cherries, stone fruit, broadacre crops and work in some of our livestock industries,” Ms Cooke said.

“I urge everyone who can to get involved.”

A single point of contact has been created for interested workers and primary producers, as well as transport and accommodation providers.

📲 For work in our region, contact Ed Milne on 03 9864 6000 or visit

💻 To find work in other regions visit Help Harvest NSW

The Agricultural Workers Code has also been written into the state’s Public Health Order, allowing the critical free movement of workers across state borders.
